At Belle, our books always have a personal resonance. Our picture book series, The Adventures of Captain Bobo is set on the West Coast, where we grew up, and features a paddle steamer remarkably similar to the iconic Waverley. We hope to have a Gaelic edition available in early 2021. Hurricane Hutch’s Top 10 Ships of the Clyde is a unique take on a fast fading era that we cherish, so we are particularly pleased that it’s finally coming out in audiobook this summer, narrated by the incomparable Bill Paterson. Then there is Tigeropolis, our conservation focussed, middle grade series, about a family of vegetarian tigers battling the odds in the forests on India – it‘s fun-filled, beautifully illustrated and fast heading for the fourth instalment. Finally, the life affirming memoir, My Life in 37 Therapies continues to draw great reviews both here in the UK and in the US. We’re also excited to announce we’ve just launched the Belle Books & Stories podcast where we talk to authors about the stories behind their books.
