Hodder Gibson is the leading educational publisher in Scotland. We publish the widest range of study and revision resources for secondary schools, supporting students and teachers through BGE (S1–S3), National 4, National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher.
Founded in 1880 by Robert Gibson, the company became part of Hodder in 2002, joining an existing list of popular Scottish textbooks by authors such as Jim Torrance and Ian Geddes (originally published by Edward Arnold until 1987). TeeJay Maths, Scotland’s No.1 Maths publisher, became part of the Hodder Gibson family in 2019. TeeJay provides the only unified set of Maths resources that takes pupils from Primary 1 through to Secondary 6.
Today, Hodder Gibson still operates from a small office in Glasgow, with a dedicated team working on Hodder Gibson and TeeJay Maths resources.
